My name is Po-Hsuan Lin (Hsuan pronounced like "shuan"). I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences, California Institute of Technology. I received my B.A. in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from National Taiwan University. Before coming to Caltech, I was a data science research intern at MobLab Inc., Pasadena.
I am a behavioral economist. I use a combination of theory and experiments to study bounded rationality in strategic environments. My theoretical work contributes to behavioral game theory, currently focusing on developing behavioral solution concepts for dynamic games. My experimental research is closely tied to my theoretical work. It explores key methodological questions in experimental game theory. See my [research statement] for an overview of my research agendas.
I am on the Econ job market during the 2023-2024 academic year!
